ANXIETY

Anxiety and fear are normal emotions experienced by people in response to danger. However when fear and worry become excessive they interfere with normal functioning and prevent us from going about their normal life and achieving our goals.

Anxiety is a common disorder that can be effectively treated. Some people may overcome their anxiety with specific therapy, while others may benefit from medication combined with specific therapy. Therapies include relaxation techniques, slow breathing techniques, hyperventilation control, and cognitive behaviors therapy to assist you to have greater control of emotions, thinking and behavior.

PHYSICAL

Blushing, Dizziness, Heart racing, Nausea, Sweating, Shaking, Trembling, Shortness of Breath.

 

THOUGHTS

I have a serious illness, I am going to have a heart attack, I will appear boring.

 

1. Have you felt anxious, tense, nervous most of the time for more than two weeks?
